Director Tom Bulcroft III has been a martial artist for over 30 years. At 17 years old, he started martial arts training under Sensei Sali E. Azem from 1982-1987 achieving the rank of Shodan in the Uechi-Ryu Karate-Do system. He stopped training to focus on a career in Physical Therapy.
     Tom resumed training under Sensei Azem in 2003 at Azem’s Lakes Region Systema Academy/Shinbukan Dojo where he continues to train and study.
     Has studied Hakkoryu Jiu-Jitsu under Sensei Azem through his teacher Shihan Palumbo. He holds the rank of Godan in the Uchina Machimura Suide Seido-Ha Karate-jitsu system and holds Instructor level certification through the International Combat Systema Association. From Sensei Azem and Kevin Secours, Founder of the I.C.S.A.
