Our summer camp will run from July 9-13, 2012. We will absolutely only be hosting one event next year--running 2 camps in 2011 was just too exhausting and a logistical nightmare. Our goal is to keep things tight, simple and to offer a higher intensity of training to our participants.
Our guest instructor will be Alex Kostic, the founder of Homo Ludens from Serbia. All 5 days will be co-taught by Kevin and Alex, meaning they will each take turns sharing and supporting each other's instruction and will be present throughout the entirety of the seminar. Alex and Kevin co-taught a very successful summer camp in Serbia in 2011 and they seek to build on that experience in Montreal.
The topics will be limited to empty hand use: Flow, ground fighting, breaking structure, escape from holds and clinching, striking, kicking and mass attacks. This will allow a more thorough and deeper treatment for work.
At our first camp, evening classes were made freely available to all participants. This time around, we intend to consolidate our evening classes into special 90 minute-2 hour mini seminars, many of which will be taught by special guest instructors to be announced. For more information, please contact Kevin at kevinsecours@hotmail.com.
More info will follow shortly.
