He served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne 2/504 PIR and is a former law enforcement officer. Beyond instructing Combat Systema, he is also a current law enforcement advisor and instructor for The Academy of Martial Studies/Combatives contract company and a self defense and combatives instructor for Range 37 public shooting range and gun club.
