The following schools are certified representatives of Combat Systema. Combat Systema advocates a scientific, research-based approach to combat training. We are principle-based, but not at the exclusion of technique. As there are as many interpretations of Combat Systema as there are practitioners, every instructor's interpretation will be their own unique understanding of combat truth, governed by our foundational principles:
 
    -Research and Experimentation: No mysticism. No bunk. What works and why.

    -Multi-Dimensional Educational Approaches: Structured teaching that appeals to all learning styles.

    -Progressive Rehearsal Drilling: Building from skill isolation, to skill integration, to skill confidence.

    -Pressure Testing: The measured and constructive inclusion of appropriate resistance.

    -Debriefing and Assessment: The discussion and analysis of lessons learned from this progression.

    -Enlightened Repetition: Returning to the beginning of the cycle, with renewed understanding and awareness.


There are 5 levels of instructorship in Combat Systema:

Apprentice-Instructor: An individual who has organized and runs an officially recognized and sanctioned training group.

Assistant-Instructor: An experienced practitioner who is generally appointed by an Instructor to assist in instruction.

Instructor: An experienced practitoner who is dedicated to the evidence-base combat approach outlined above.

Full Instructor: Has distinguished themself by the completion and certification in all modules of learning expoused by the system.

Senior Instructor: Has functioned as a Combat Systema instructor for a suitable period of time (1-2 years minimally) and continued to forge their individual path of combative understanding.
