ABOUT THE DIRECTOR
Kevin Secours B.Ed. is one of North America's foremost specialists in Russian Systema. A former senior instructor under Vladimir Vasiliev and Mikhail Ryabko, Kevin was long renown for his concise grasp of Systema and his innovative approach to sharing his knowledge. He has published some of the first and most comprehensive articles on the subject,
he has been featured in numerous DVD's including his own best-selling combat series, and taught Systema on 5 continents. In 2010, Kevin formed The International Combat Systema Association to more fully represent his continuing evolution and understanding of the russian martial arts.
Kevin has 28 years of experience in the martial arts. He is the holder of a 6th degree black belt in Goshinbudo under Sensei Sali Azem, a 3rd degree black belt in Modern Kempo Jujitsu, a 1st degree black belt in Akai Ryu Jiu-Jitsu and Full Instructorship in Five Animal Shaolin Chuanshu. In addition, he has over 12 years of experience in Tai Chi and Yoga, as well as extensive experience in the grappling arts.
Kevin is a former member of the Canadian Tactical Training Academy. His efforts included serving as a head instructor for Montreal's international airport security teams, personally certifying over 300 agents in Control Device, Restraint Tactics and Pressure Point use. He was also deeply involved with CTTA's promotion of The Quick Stick Extreme Tactical Baton as well as in the development of its expanded curriculum.
Kevin is the current Director of Training for the Quebec Tactical Training Center (cftq.ca). A certified CFTQ Defensive Tactics Instructor, Kevin is also the director if of The CFTQ's Montreal training branch. In addition, he holds instructor certifications in PR-24, Monadnock Extendable Baton, Tactical Cuffing, Use of Force, Restraint Tactics and he is certified in Police Pressure Point Systems (PPPS) by the legendary Georges Sylvain.
Kevin has worked in personal protection and security domestically and abroad, and has instructed for numerous organizations including The Canadian Coast Guard, Air Canada, The Montreal General Hospital and McGill University.
Kevin lives in Montreal, Canada where he works as the director and head instructor of Integrated Fighting Systems. He continues to work in personal security and teach worldwide.
