THE COMBAT SYSTEMA CURRICULUM

The Combat Systema curriculum is divided by subject. Certifications (of completion of Instructor rank) is available by individual subject, or full instructorship is available for the entire system.

All training respects the three steps of successful stress innoculation:

1-Education: Everything is clearly explained according to demonstrable scientific principles. No mysticism, misplaced intuition, or circular logic. Just clear, straightforward combat science.

2-Rehearsal: Students are led through a slow progression of drills to explore the concepts being taught and internalize them at a bodily level. This is the bridge from cognition to kinesthetic understanding.

3-Pressure Testing: Students are pushed briefly, through simulations or controlled drills, to the level where the skills begin to erode. Generally, training is kept at a sub-flinch threshhold initially, but later, pushes further.

The cycle is repeated with students debriefing after the pressure testing, sharing realizations and understanding and fine-tuning their continued rehearsal. Pressure testing is the catalyst that leads to continual refinement.
